The Aurora Singers is a nonprofit community chorus of more than sixty mixed voices. We are based in Palo Alto, but our choir members come from around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. We prepare two concert programs each year. Our December program draws from winter and holiday music of all cultures, and our Spring concert is always devoted exclusively to American music of all genres — folk, spirituals, pop, classic, standards, showtunes — anything made in America! We present each program to the public as a benefit for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, which generously provides our rehearsal space.

We are currently on hiatus from in-person rehearsals and performances because of Covid-19, but gather weekly via Zoom to share the joy of each other's company and "singing along" within the safety of our own homes.

A major emphasis of our mission is to bring quality, uplifting entertainment to people otherwise unable to enjoy live music. That's why we bring each concert to different venues, such as convalescent homes, senior centers, and retirement facilities.
Dawn & TiffanyOur director, Dawn Reyen, has worked with choirs professionally for most of her life. She also works with Schola Cantorum and the Unitarian Fellowship of Redwood City.  Our accompanist, Tiffany Shi, is a solo pianist and organist. She recently earned her doctorate in piano and now teaches private music lessons.
